Plain English summary: Use our apps fairly, pay for subscriptions via the platform you subscribed on, and don't do anything illegal with our software. We own the apps; you own your content.
By downloading, installing, or using any GritWerk application or service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and GritWerk regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
Subject to these Terms, GritWerk grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps for your personal or internal business purposes.
You may not:
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Renewal charges use the same payment method on file.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. No partial refunds are issued for the remainder of a paid period.
Apple subscriptions. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are managed by Apple. To cancel, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iOS device. GritWerk has no control over App Store transactions.
Stripe subscriptions. Subscriptions purchased via our website are managed by Stripe. You may cancel via your account settings or by emailing [email protected].
Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Taxes. Prices shown may not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for all taxes associated with your purchase.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store using our apps ("Your Content"). By using our services, you grant GritWerk a limited license to host, store, and display Your Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload and use Your Content within the Service, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
The GritWerk name, logo, app designs, source code, and all related intellectual property are owned exclusively by GritWerk and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of GritWerk's intellectual property to you.
The "GritWerk" name and logo are trademarks of GritWerk. You may not use them without prior written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
GritWerk does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GRITWERK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
GRITWERK'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO GRITWERK IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain implied warranties or exclusions of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You may stop using the Service at any time. For server-backed apps, you may also delete your account by emailing [email protected].
GritWerk may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Service immediately ends. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes are effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.

Description: GritWerk and its client applications may send transactional SMS messages including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, service status updates, and account security alerts.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. Transactional messages are sent in response to user actions (bookings, account changes, security events). You will not receive more than 10 messages per month unless you initiate additional actions.
