HawkHero is an AI-powered tool that generates marketplace listings from product photos. Take a photo of something you want to sell, and HawkHero creates a title, description, price suggestion, and condition assessment in seconds. It works for eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy, Craigslist, and more.

After installing HawkHero, you'll be guided through a quick setup where you enter your backend server URL and API key. These credentials connect the app to the AI analysis service. If you received an invitation or purchased a plan, your server details were provided in your welcome email.

• An iPhone running iOS 16 or later
• A HawkHero backend server URL and API key
• Camera access (for taking product photos) or photo library access (for selecting existing photos)

Tap the camera button to take a photo of your product, or select an existing photo from your library. HawkHero's AI will analyze the image and generate a complete listing with title, description, suggested price, and condition assessment. You can edit any field before saving or sharing.

HawkHero can scan product barcodes to instantly identify items. Point your camera at a UPC or EAN barcode, and the app will look up the product details to help generate a more accurate listing with the correct product name, brand, and specifications.

HawkHero generates listings formatted for:

• eBay
• Poshmark
• Mercari
• Facebook Marketplace
• Etsy
• Craigslist

You can also copy and paste the generated text into any other marketplace or selling app.

Yes. After generating a listing from your first photo, you can add up to 4 additional photos. These extra photos help provide more angles and details for potential buyers.

Your photos are sent to the backend server you configured during setup. The server sends them to Google's Gemini AI for analysis, then stores the generated listing data. GritWerk does not have access to your photos. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

You can delete individual listings from within the app. To delete all data, remove all listings through the app or contact [email protected]. Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored credentials and preferences.

• Check that your device has an internet connection
• Verify your server URL and API key in Settings
• Make sure the backend server is running and accessible
• If the server URL starts with http:// (not https), iOS may block the connection. Contact your server administrator about enabling HTTPS.

AI analysis typically takes 5–15 seconds depending on your connection speed and server load. If it consistently times out:

• Try using a smaller or lower-resolution photo
• Check your internet connection speed
• The AI service may be experiencing high demand — try again in a few minutes

AI-generated listings are a starting point — always review before posting. For best results:

• Take clear, well-lit photos showing the full item
• Include any labels, tags, or brand markings in the photo
• Use the barcode scanner when available for more accurate product identification
• Edit the generated title, description, and price to match your knowledge of the item
